SHENZO GREGORIO & GERARD MAPSTONE On Tour with Camerata of St John's
The Camerata of St John's in Brisbane today starts their outback Queensland tour featuring special guest artists Shenzo Gregorio and Gerard Mapstone.
Two innovative musicians who constantly tour our country, garnering a huge following wherever they go. They provide a truly unique blend of Spanish flamenco, Gypsy jazz and Classical music.
Their performances are packed with ‘passionate and virtuosic playing, beauty, mystery and energy’. They invite everyone to enter their exciting ‘world of creation, improvisation, and connection’ to ravishing sounds. From the campfires of Andalucia to the concert halls of Vienna, their music is a passionate musical odyssey across the globe and beyond. Both classically trained they are leading contemporary performers of great versatility.

For the Moranbah community rush to the Community Centre, Town Square Wednesday Nov 20 at 7pm admission proceeds to Breast Cancer Network Australia. For those in Emerald it is the McIndoe Function Centre, Emerald on Thursday Nov 22 at 6pm, small charge single or family. At Biloela they are on stage at the Biloela Anglican Ministry Centre Sat Nov 23 at 7.30pm and while adults are asked to pay a fee, students are free.
The Camerata of St John’s has a reputation for innovation and the ensemble is extremely flexible in its repertoire, playing the core “classics” as well as regularly working with performers outside the ‘classical’ sector.
